About SONIXUS
SONIXUS is a music project from Switzerland, working at the meeting point of ancient echoes and modern energy — between rhythm and atmosphere, between intimate instrumental worlds and wide cinematic spaces.
Tribal percussion, psytrance journeys, orchestral movements, jazz, flamenco, electronic textures, strings, piano, traditional instruments and experimental soundscapes: SONIXUS does not belong to one genre. Each album opens another door.
The project began with a boy who wanted instruments, and wanted to become a musician. Then, after a long silence, the writing began again — and the old spark was still there.
Since then the work has continued quietly, almost like an excavation: following sounds, ideas and moods wherever they lead. Some pieces become songs. Some become albums. Some become entire worlds of their own.
SONIXUS is the label as well as the artist: everything is composed, produced and released independently, under that one name. The catalogue keeps growing across instrumental, electronic, cinematic, traditional and experimental territories, without being bound to a single sound.
This site is the home of that collection. It is also the home of SONIXUS Radio, a continuous broadcast running around the clock. No matter when you tune in, the music is already moving — and everyone listening at that moment hears the very same second.
Among its early chapters are The Apex Ritual: Vol. I and Vol. II, released worldwide across the major music platforms. But they are only chapters. The work continues, quietly, past what has already been heard.
